NFMC Attends Open House for Metis Nation of Ontario(MNO) Region 2
On Saturday, February 10, NFMC’s Planning Forester, Alaina Vandervoort R.P.F., and NFMC’s General Manager, Carmelo Notarbartolo, attended an Open House for the Metis Nation of Ontario (MNO) Region 2 staff and members in Thunder Bay. The Open House provided an opportunity to review the 2024-2025 Annual Work Schedules. The event was organized by MNO and Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF)-Northwest Region.
Present were Ministry and industry foresters and representatives for 8 forests: Lakehead Forest, Dog River-Matawin Forest, Black Spruce Forest, Wabadowgang Noopming Forest, Lake Nipigon Forest, Kenogami Forest, Pic Forest and White River Forest.
