Recently, NFMC’s Senior Silviculture Technician, Kristina Smith, and Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator, Brett Redden, attended the 2024 North Algoma Job Fair in Wawa. A total of 34 exhibitors, representing a variety of industries, participated in the event. Team NFMC welcomed the opportunity to speak to the general public about its programs-Donations and Sponsorships, Scholarships, and Strategic Initiatives- as well as careers available within the forestry industry.  To help promote some of the careers in forestry, NFMC utilizes some of the latest Virtual Reality technology available, so as to provide a unique 360-degree perspective.
