NFMC provides information session to Lakehead University

On Monday, March 20, Nawiinginokiima Forest Management Corporation (NFMC) was invited to make a presentation to Natural Resources Management (NRMT) students at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay. A total of 20 students attended the session.
NFMC’s General Manager, Carmelo Notarbartolo, led the presentation. Also in attendance was Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator, Brett Redden. Carmelo explained NFMC’s role within in the region, from its genesis, to creating economic development and employment opportunities, staffing structure, donations and scholarships and strategic initiatives program, and its daily operations of forest management within the Pic and White River Forests.
