Last week, NFMC’s team (Brett Redden- Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator, Scott Seaman- Silviculture Supervisor, Kristina Smith-White River Forest Silviculture Technician, Savannah Paton-Pic Forest Silviculture Technician) along with NFMC High School Scholarship recipient/1st year Forest Technician student at Confederation College, Gabrielle Horan, were excited to be invited to tour PRT Growing Services Tree Nursery in Dryden, ON.

Thank you to Mike Morris- PRT Dryden Nursery Manager, Melissa Huntley- Grower 1, Melissa Huntley-Grower 1, Leslie Burns-Grower 2 and entire PRT team, for their hospitality and providing this learning opportunity for Gabrielle and our staff.

PRT also arranged for a tour of a local jack pine and black spruce tree orchard located Northwest of Dryden. Led by Orchard Specialist, Sarah Wagnenaar, everyone enjoyed a wonderful day of learning. I think the group photo says it all. Thank you again, PRT Growing Services!
