NFMC Provides Funding to Address Need of Qualified AZ/DZ Drivers Within Forestry Industry
Nawiinginokiima Forest Management Corporation(NFMC) and Confederation College Northshore Campus would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Trevor Starr and Jordan Severance on their recent achievement of successfully completing the AZ/DZ Melt program. Trevor and Jordan are both employees of MKWA. Since 2015, MKWA has provided road maintenance, snowplowing, and culvert maintenance for NFMC. In 2023, NFMC approached Confederation College to assist with addressing a need of qualified AZ/DZ drivers within the forest industry. As part of our corporate goal of providing economic development opportunities to our local communities, NFMC provided funding for the cost of the AZ/DZ Melt program for Trevor and Jordan.
