NFMC Donates Trees For Local Tree Restoration Project in Marathon

NFMC was pleased to donate Maple and Trembling Aspen trees as well as water bags as a part of a tree restoration initiative at Peninsula Manor – Marathon Seniors Supportive Housing This will be a two-phase project to replace trees on the property. Phase-One has been completed as of July 2024, and Phase-Two will be completed by July 2025.

Jim Collins, Jack Pine Tree Care and Landscape Design, is heading up the tree planting services for this project. Notice the green bag at the bottom of tree in the photo? These are water bags which naturally collect water from rain, and can be filled manually as well, but helps to make sure the trees will receive an adequate amount of water.
