Approximately 3,000 tonnes (equivalent to 140 truckloads) of crushed “A” gravel will be spot placed in high priority areas of the road. By adding this material, bedrock and corduroy underneath the roadbed will be better covered in areas where gravel is thin. More gravel will allow a smoother driving surface when the road is graded. A reminder to those travelling on the Industrial Road to slow down, drive safely and expect construction traffic and soft road conditions.
