We Offer Student Scholarships!

Did you know NFMC offers 12 annual scholarships for high school and post-secondary students in or from our management area? We provide 8 scholarships of $3,000 to secondary students who will be attending post-secondary in the fall, 2 scholarships of $2,000 to full-time college/skilled trades program, and 2 scholarships of $2,000 to full-time university students.

Any secondary students, within our management area, who plan to attend post-secondary in the fall and/or full-time college or university students are eligible to apply.  Although it is not mandatory to be enrolled in a forestry, GIS or natural science program, preference for scholarships will be given to students in these program fields. Students must include a completed application form, letter of recommendation from a teacher or professor and their academic transcript. Applicants must reside or attend school within our management area to qualify. Deadline for applications is May 1st for secondary students, and June 30th for post-secondary students.
