This year, NOSH Chief Executive Officer Adam Brown embarked on an exhausting endurance test: 24 continuous hours of golfing at Aguasabon Golf Club in the Township of Terrace Bay. The round-the-clock event kicked off at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, September 1, and concluded at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, September 2.

“Food security is fundamentally tied to the overall health and well-being of our region,” said Brown. “Taking on 24 hours on the course is a small effort compared to the daily challenges faced by families experiencing food insecurity in our communities.

Throughout the 24-hour marathon, Brown was joined on the course by community members and organizations in rotating tee times to play 9-hole “scramble” rounds, driving donor support and team spirit through the day and night.

Thanks for including NFMC in this years event. We look forward to supporting again in 2027!
