NFMC attends Scholarship Information Session at Marathon High School

Nawiinginokiima Forest Management Corporation (NFMC) welcomed the opportunity to be a part of Marathon High School’s Grade 12 Scholarship Information Session. Brett Redden, Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator, attended the session and provided information regarding NFMC’s Scholarship Program.

NFMC offers $32,000.00 annually for local students who reside within its management area through its Scholarships Program. The scholarships are comprised of the following- Eight $3000.00 scholarships awarded to graduating high school students who plan attend post-secondary in the fall, two $2,000.00 scholarships awarded to College/Trades students currently enrolled in a full-time program, and two $2000.00 scholarships to university students currently enrolled in a full-time program.

The students were very engaged and asked some very good questions. They obtained information regarding scholarship options and tips on how to apply for them.
